Create My Nsfas.org.za Portal
Students and NSFAS applicants are strongly encouraged to register a MyNSFAS account. The following are the steps:
- On www.nsfas.org.za, select “myNsfas account” from the menu.
- Enter your username and password.
- A tab labelled “My personal details” is present.
- Give your active phone number or email instead.
- Click on “Update your details.”
- You will receive a One Time Pin (OTP) at both the new phone number and email address you supplied.
- Click submit after inputting the OTP.
- Your data will be automatically updated.
- Your login information is your email address. Keep your login details private.
- The MyNSFAS portal is primarily used by current and prospective students to submit their NSFAS online scholarship applications.
How To Login To My Nsfas.org.za Portal
Follow the process below to log in to your Nsfas application:
- Visit the Website for your myNSFAS account.
- Enter your Username
- Enter your password
- There should be a sign-in button pressed.
Log into your account and select Track Funding Progress from the account dashboard to view the status of your application.
How To Reset My Nsfas.org.za Portal Password
If you’ve forgotten your password for the MY NSFAS student portal, you can easily reset it by doing the following:

- Input the application ID number here.
- Pick one of the available options:
- I can’t remember my username right now.
- I cannot recall my password.
- My account and password are completely forgotten.
- Pick the appropriate answer.
- To submit, click.
- You will receive an email and SMS containing a One Time Pin (OTP) at the cell phone number you supplied.
- Check your email or smartphone for the OTP. The validity of this OTP expires in 24 hours.
- You must type the OTP number into the block.
- To submit, click.
- You will receive an email and SMS with a link to reset your login information.
- Click the link in the email or SMS you just got.
