My Nsfas Application 2024 Status Check
For the academic year 2024/2025, qualified candidates may now submit an online Nsfas application to apply for financial help. If you want to attend or are currently enrolled in a public university or TVET college in South Africa and your family’s annual income is R350 000 or less, you should apply for Nsfas. A government organisation within the Department of Higher Study and Training known as NSFAS was established in accordance with the NSFAS Act (Act 56 of 1999) to provide aid to financially underprivileged students who desired to continue their education at public universities or TVET institutes.
From the 28th of September, the online application will be open for applicants to submit their applications and the applications will be closing on the 31st of January. Applicants are to upload all the required documentation to be eligible. After the applicant has applied, it will take a while to hear from Nsfas. The NSFAS funding application process takes around three to six weeks to receive the response in the status section, but applicants can check or track the progress of their applications. This article has published the step to step process on how to track the status of their applications to Nsfas.
