Sassa Status
Sassa Application Status Check
Wonderful news for South Africans who are living in abject poverty and are unable to obtain employment or make a living for themselves and their family. For those who are unemployed at the moment and do not have any other form of income, such as a social grant or UIF payment, the South African government grants an r350 stipend for up to six months.
The Social Relief Stress Grant (SRD Grant) was created to allow South African citizens, Refugees, Special Permit Holders, and Asylum Seekers to receive financial support from the South African government. Candidates between the ages of 18 and 60 years old, who have insufficient means, are not eligible or contributing to UIF payments, do not receive any social grants on behalf of themselves, and not receiving financial support from any other source, may be eligible to apply for the R350 SRD social grant.
Through the Sassa official website, over WhatsApp, and via the Sassa application chatbot, you can submit an application for the grant. Following the application, the Status Check online service will provide information regarding the application process. This will allow you to confirm whether or not you will get your relief payments.
