Sassa Srd R350 Grant Application 2024/2025
Are you a SA Citizen, Refugee, Asylum Seeker or Special Permit Holder who is between the ages of eighteen and sixty years, who have financial difficulty in taking care of yourself and your family, do you not receive social grants on behalf of yourself, then the good news is you are eligible to apply for eligible for Sassa R350 grant provided by the South African government. Applicants are urged to begin their application as early as possible before the application deadline.
No documents must be uploaded because all information required at the time of the application will be delivered electronically. Please make sure Sasssa has a mobile number (cell phone number) where they can reach you so they can let you know how your application is progressing.
On the Sassa website’s official page, you may also find out the progress of your application. If Sassa rejects your application, you have the option to file an appeal with the Department of Social Development for each month that your application was rejected.
Please know that your application may be rejected by Sassa, but upon receiving notification that your application has been rejected, you will be given information on how to file an appeal. The initial judgment will be upheld if no appeal is filed for each month that the application is rejected.
Social Relief of Distress is only offered for a brief period, usually up to three months, which may be extended for an additional three months.
Sassa Srd R350 Application Date 2024/2025
Each month, Sassa releases funds to be disbursed to beneficiaries of the R350 grant. Applications are to be made as soon as the applications are open. The funds will be received by applicants for continuous six-month after which if the situation o f an applicant does not change he/she can reapply.

Sassa Srd R350 Application Eligibility 2024/2025
The following are the person’s who qualify to receive Sassa Srd 350 grants;
- You must be a South African Citizen
- You must be a Refugee in South Africa
- You must be an Asylum Seeker in South Africa
- You must be a Special Permit Holder in South Africa
- You must be between 18 and 60 years old
- You must meet the means test, with an income of R624 or less per month
- You must be unemployed and NOT be receiving financial support from any other source
- You must have insufficient financial means to support yourself
- You must NOT be receiving any other social grants
- You must NOT be contributing towards or eligible for UIF payment
- You must NOT be receiving a stipend from NSFAS (National Student Financial Aid Scheme)

Sassa Srd R350 Application Process 2024/2025
There are various ways to apply for Sassa R350 grants, choose from any of the following:
- Send a message via WhatsApp to 082 046 8553
- Provide your personal details
- You will receive a Reference number, an OTP and a link to click
- Click on the provided link, fill in your OTP and verify your account
- Fill in your surname and ID number
- Confirm the personal details that you provided via the WhatsApp chat

- In your internet browser, visit the SRD Website
- Fill in your ID number and mobile number and click “send SMS”
- You will receive a 6-digit OTP via SMS
- Insert the OTP number on the SRD website and click “verify pin”
