350 Srd Grant Application
Applications for social distress relief grant are still being accepted for the year 2024/2025 at South Africa. Many people become homeless due to unforeseen circumstances and tragedies, such as job loss or other financial difficulties. To provide temporary assistance to those affected in South Africa, the government has established the Sassa SRD 350 grant, which provides a monthly stipend for a period of six months to help individuals and families meet their basic needs.
To be eligible for the Sassa R350 grant, applicants must be South African citizens, refugees, asylum seekers, or special permit holders between the ages of 18 and 60 who lack sufficient means to support themselves, do not receive other social grants or UIF payments, and have no other financial support. It is recommended that applicants submit their applications as early as possible before the deadline.
Social relief of distress provided by Sassa may take the form of food parcels or vouchers, while some provinces offer cash assistance. This relief is typically provided for a short period of up to three months, with the possibility of an extension for an additional three months.
350 Srd Application Payment Date
The application will be evaluated by SASSA after submission, and if approved, the applicant will receive an R350 monthly payment for a maximum of six months. As a temporary kind of aid,candidates must reapply if their circumstances have not altered by the end of six months.
350 Srd Application Eligibility
The following are the peoples who qualify to receive Sassa Srd 350 grants;
- You must be a South African Citizen
- You must be a Refugee in South Africa
- You must be an Asylum Seeker in South Africa
- You must be a Special Permit Holder in South Africa
- You must be between 18 and 60 years old
- You must meet the means test, with an income of R624 or less per month
- You must be unemployed and NOT be receiving financial support from any other source
- It would help if you had insufficient financial means to support yourself
- You must NOT be receiving any other social grants
- You must NOT be contributing towards or eligible for UIF payment
- You must NOT be receiving a stipend from NSFAS (National Student Financial Aid Scheme)

There are various ways to apply for Sassa R350 grants, choose from any of the following:
- Send a message via WhatsApp to 082 046 8553
- Provide your personal details
- You will receive a Reference number, an OTP and a link to click
- Click on the provided link, fill in your OTP and verify your account
- Fill in your surname and ID number
- Confirm the personal details that you provided via the WhatsApp chat

- In your internet browser, visit the SRD Website
- Fill in your ID number and mobile number and click “send SMS”
- You will receive a 6-digit OTP via SMS
- Insert the OTP number on the SRD website and click “verify pin”

If SASSA rejects your application, you have the option to file an appeal with the Department of Social Development for each month that your application was rejected. After your application is rejected, you will receive information on how to file an appeal.
