Who Is Entitled To A Bursary
If you are a citizen of South Africa, intend to enroll in school in 2023, are presently enrolled in a public university or TVET college, and meet the requirements listed below, you may be eligible for an NSFAS bursary.

To submit your NSFAS Bursary Online Application for 2023, you must upload the following files:
- It’s necessary to provide both a personal phone number and email address.
- You must provide a copy of your ID or birth certificate.
- You must also provide copies of your ID and the IDs of any parents, guardians, or spouses you may have.
- You do not need to present any income documentation if your spouse, your parents, or your guardians are SASSA grant beneficiaries, or if you can supply one year’s worth of IRP5 (if applicable) as proof of their income.

Ways To Submit Online NSFAS Application
Application for NSFAS Account Funding:
- Make alterations to an existing myNSFAS account or create a new one.
- Visit www.nsfas.org.za to see.
- Set the “myNSFAS” tab to active.
- Decide to “Register.”
- Please check the appropriate box to allow NSFAS to validate your information.
- Please enter your ID number into the form exactly as it is shown on your South African Identity Document (ID)
- Enter your full and last name using your ID number as a guide.
- Your current email address must be entered.
- Check the details of your email.
- Your mobile number should be entered.
- Create a password.
- Verify the ID image and password.
- Decide to “Register.”
- An OTP will be sent to the specified email address and mobile number, and it will be good for 24 hour
- Type the OTP in and click “Submit.”
- You have now finished the re-registration process.
- To be taken to the online application form, click the APPLY tab.
Submitting an NSFAS Consent Form
After completing the form, visit the MyNSFAS portal and log in. Any incomplete extra materials may be posted. The papers need to be uploaded before you can choose
- “Submit Documents” from the menu.
- The procedure is complete when all documents have been uploaded and you have seen the message “Outstanding application documents submitted successfully uploaded.”
- The documents are probably unclear if you submitted the required paperwork yet there was still an issue. Visit an NSFAS or NYDA office if you need help using the phone’s camera to snap pictures.
