Ekurhleni West Tvet College’s online application period for the academic year 2023 runs from September 28, 2022, through January 31, 2023. Because the deadline might not be extended, applicants should submit their applications while they are still being accepted.
Length of NSFAS Appeals
Students should use the self-service portal to verify the status of their 2022 NSFAS appeal after submitting their form and updating their portal information. The portal will say “Approved for funding subject to registration” if the appeal is granted. If the appeal is rejected, “Application Failed” will be shown in the status checker.
The 30-day appeals period is the maximum. Occasionally, things might go more rapidly. But it shouldn’t.

NSFAS Online Application EWC 2023
- Ekurhuleni West Tvet College students applying for the Nsfas Bursaries must follow the process below to guide them:
- Go to www.nsfas.org.za
- Click on myNsfas Tab
- Click on register
- Tick the box to allow Nsfas to verify your details
- Capture your ID number as it is stated on your ID documents
- Type in your full name and surname as indicated on the ID
- Enter your current and functioning email address
- Confirm your email address
- Enter your cell phone number
- Create a password for yourself
- Confirm the password you generated
- Upload your ID copy
- Click on Register to apply
- An OTP will be sent to the email and phone number you provided ( the OTP will expire within 24hrs)
- Type in the OTP and click on SUBMIT
- Your Nsfas application has been successfully completed
How to Send an NSFAS Consent Form
Visit the MyNSFAS portal and log in after completing the form. Any incomplete supplementary materials may be posted. The documents must be uploaded before you can select “Submit Documents” from the menu.
Once all documents have been uploaded and you have received the message “Outstanding application documents submitted successfully uploaded,” the process is complete.
If you submitted the required paperwork and there is still a problem, the documents probably aren’t clear. Visit an NSFAS or NYDA office if you need help taking pictures with your phone’s camera.
