Things Needed In Setting Up NSFAS Profile
The following things must be on hand in order to create a MyNsfas account:

- OTP will be sent to the supplied email and mobile numbers (this OTP expires after 24 hours)

How to Find Out if Your Application Was Accepted by the NSFAS
Following confirmation from the university that each applicant has accepted an academic offer, NSFAS will let each applicant know the status of their application. Prior to the start of the academic year, NSFAS will notify you of your choice by SMS, email, and your myNSFAS account.
What Is the Time Frame for NSFAS Approval
Each applicant should see a response in the status section of the nsfas form within 4 to 6 weeks of submitting their application. Background investigations and verification procedures, however, could take longer.
