How Much Is SRD Grant Now?: SRD Grant Increase 2023
The South African government offers the SRD (Social Relief of Distress) Award, a social assistance grant, to help unemployed and underprivileged people and households through difficult times. The SRD stipend had a monthly value of R350 (South African Rand).
The most recent information should be confirmed with the relevant authorities as government policies and grant amounts are subject to change. The SRD Grant is still worth R350 a month as far as I’m aware, but it’s a good idea to double-check with the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) or the Department of Social Development for the most recent details on grant amounts and eligibility requirements.
