My Nsfas Documents Don’t Want To Upload

The Nsfas application for the 2024/2025 academic year is currently open for all South African students who intend to enrol or are currently enrolled in any of the public universities or public Tvet colleges to apply to receive financial support for their education. Nsfas has an intention of providing help to students who are disadvantaged financially and come from a family with an annual household income that is less than R350 000 so that they also can get quality education.

To be eligible to receive Nsfas bursaries, applicants are expected to upload the required documents to Nsfas for review in other to prove their eligibility. Through the online application portal of Nsfas, applicants can submit their applications as well as upload their documents. The 2-024/2025 Nsfas application window will be open from the 28th of September and the applications will be closing on the 7th of January. Applicants are to apply within the application period because that will be the only period that Nsfas will be accepting applications.

What Are The Required Documents Needed By Nsfas

The following files must be uploaded to your NSFAS Bursary Online Application for 2024:

  • You must have a personal phone number and email address.
  • You must provide a copy of your ID or birth certificate.
  • You also require copies of your ID and the IDs of any parents, guardians, or spouses you may have.
  • Your proof of income or one year’s IRP5 (if applicable)
  • evidence of your spouse’s, parents’, or guardians’ income
  • Grant recipients from SASSA are exempt from submitting any proof of income.
  • A copy of the Disability Annexure that has been finished and signed All applicants with impairments must complete a Form and submit it.

  • NSFAS advises candidates to hold off on submitting additional papers until their evaluation team requests them if necessary because they won’t be able to do so once their application has been submitted. Therefore, if NSFAS needs more documentation from you, they will communicate with you.

How To Upload Your Documents To Nsfas

The process below will guide you on how to upload documents to Nsfas:

  • Log in to your NSFAS account
  • Click on the “My Documents” tab. (On the “My Documents” page, you’ll see a list of all the documents that NSFAS requires).
  • Find the document that you need to upload, and
  • Click on the “Upload” button. (Once you’ve clicked on the “Upload” button, you’ll be able to choose how you want to upload your document. You can either upload it from your computer, or you can take a photo of it and upload it that way)
  • Click the “Upload” button at the bottom of the page after choosing your file. Your NSFAS account will now get your document for upload
