NSFAS Appeal 2023
Are NSFAS appeals open for 2023,NSFAS Appeal 2023
Due to the popularity of the NSFAS, it goes without saying that not every applicant will be admitted. On the NSFAS website, which provides information on the appeals process, candidates can assess the reasons for rejection and submit written arguments for their appeal (this should not exceed more than 1,000 characters). The window of opportunity for appeals closes every February. Before starting the appeals process, it is helpful to be aware of the few predetermined grounds why NSFAS officials will consider an appeal.
Date for NSFAS Appeal in 2023
NSFAS appeals started on February 3rd, a Thursday. Any appeals must be made through the NSFAS self service portal at www.nsfas.org.za by the student or applicant.
Students who are qualified to appeal a negative evaluation will automatically be granted access to do so on their accounts. The kids have 30 days to file an appeal if the assessment is unsuccessful.

How Long Do Appeals Under NSFAS Take
The self-service portal should be used by students to track the status of their 2022 NSFAS appeal after submitting their form and updating their portal’s data. The status checker will show “Application Failed” if the appeal is unsuccessful, and “Approved for funding subject to registration” if it is successful.
The appeal can take up to 30 days. Things might go faster on occasion. However, it shouldn’t take NSFAS longer than a month to respond to your application.
