According to the NSFAS policy agreement, students must pass at least 50% of their modules and meet the academic standards of their higher education institution in order to continue receiving funding from NSFAS.

A deserving student’s complete tuition is paid for by a Nsfas bursary. The bursary also provides funding for the students’ books, meals, housing, and other living expenses.
