At one of the application centers, you can complete a paper copy of the application.
- Fill in the spaces on the NSFAS application form in CAPITAL characters and BLACK ink.
- Keep everything intact, and make sure your text is readable.
- Get the parent or legal guardian to sign the consent form.
- Have certified copies of the necessary supplementary documents on hand, and attach them to the application before submitting it.
- Documents must be certified on the front side of the page, and they must do so within three months.
- Send the application form, complete with your signature, to a NYDA assistant.
- A barcode will be included with the application. Wait for the brief receipt card acknowledgment with the duplicate barcode.
Who Can Receive NSFAS Funding
To be eligible for bursaries, applicants must adhere to the following four standards;
- every single South African
- Funding candidates with a total annual household income of less than R350 000 are eligible for all SASSA awards.
a handicapped individual: The annual income of the household cannot exceed R600,000. - students who started their studies before 2024 and whose household income is not greater than R122 000 annually
