The National Student Financial Aid Scheme’s (NSFAS) allowance payments are overseen by the University of South Africa twice a month (Unisa). Allowances will be processed twice a month, in the first and third weeks. The new electronic fund’s transfer (EFT) procedure that Unisa will introduce will be used to deposit the NSFAS allowances and reimbursements into student accounts.
