Applications for the COVID-19 R350 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant from the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) can be submitted online or through WhatsApp.

The steps to apply for the grant online are as follows:

  • Visit the SASSA website at www.sassa.gov.za.
  • Click on the “COVID-19 SRD” banner on the homepage.
  • Read the criteria to determine whether you are eligible for the grant.
  • Click on the “Apply Now” button.
  • Fill in the online application form with your personal details, including your name, surname, ID number, cellphone number, and banking details.
