Have you been affected badly by a national disaster like the covid 19 pandemic, are you an aged, a person with a disability etc. which has rendered you jobless and has denied you the means to provide even the basic needs of your family, then you are entitled to apply for a grant which is administered by Sassa? If you are a South African citizen, an asylum seeker, a refugee or a Special Permit Holder who is between the ages of 18 and 60 and is going through financial difficulty, you are eligible to apply for an Srd grant from Sassa.
