In South Africa, if you have a physical or mental disability which makes you unfit to work for a period of longer than six months, youare eligible to apply for a disability grant. The South African Social Security Agency Disability Grant is a type of social grant that is designed to provide financial assistance to people with disabilities who are unable to support themselves due to their physical or mental condition.

The Disability Grant provides a monthly payment to eligible applicants, and the amount of the payment is determined by the means test. Who Is Eligible For Sassa Disability Grant

Sassa Disability Grant Application  Date

How To Apply For Sassa Disability Grant

To apply for the SASSA Disability Grant in South Africa, follow these steps:

Sassa Disability Grant Payments

After your grant is approved, you will be paid on the date on which you applied. Check when the next SASSA payment date is here (it is usually around the 3rd or 4th day of each month). Your Disability Grant will be paid in any of these 3 ways (depending on your preference):

•  Directly into your bank account
•  Collected in cash from approved pay points
•  From specific institutions
