SASSA For Child Grant
SASSA For Child Grant: Child Grant Application Online
The South African Social Security Agency, or SASSA, offers South African caregivers who qualify for child support grants. The government of South Africa provides the primary caregiver of a child under 18 with the Child Support Grant (the primary caregiver can be a parent, grandparent or anyone over 16 years old that is the main person responsible for caring for the child). The grant is intended for locals from lower-income families who require financial support to help care for a kid or children.
The child support stipend is designed to help parents pay for their kid’s essential requirements in lower-income homes. The award is intended to fill the gap in the cost of living, not to replace other sources of income.
