Sassa for February 2024: Sassa Grant Online Application

Sassa Application Required Criteria

To qualify for the Sassa grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be a South African citizen, permanent resident, or a refugee with a valid permit.
  2. Be currently unemployed.
  3. Not be receiving any other form of income support (such as UIF or other government grants).
  4. Be over the age of 18 and not older than the state pension age.
  5. Not be receiving any social grant from Sassa.
  6. Not be receiving any other government-funded financial support.
  7. Not have a regular income.
  8. Not have access to any other form of financial support from family, friends, or any other source.

To apply for the R350 grant, eligible applicants need to register on the Sassa website, provide their personal information, and upload supporting documents to verify their eligibility. The supporting documents may include a South African ID, proof of residence, and a bank statement. Applicants will also need to provide a valid cell phone number and an email address. How to Apply for Sassa Online

Here are the general steps to apply for SASSA online:

  • Go to the SASSA website (www.sassa.gov.za) and click on the “Apply for a Grant” button.
  • Create an account by providing your personal information and creating a username and password.
  • Log in to your account and select the type of grant you wish to apply for.
  • Fill out the online application form, providing all required personal and financial information. Be sure to complete all required fields and upload any necessary supporting documents.
