Sassa R350 Grant Online Applications

The Social Relief of Distress Grant (SRD Grant), also known as the COVID-19 SRD Grant, is a financial aid programme that was created by the South African government to help people who are unable to support themselves. Like to other SASSA programmes, the SRD award has some requirements, including age. Candidates will get a grant award of R350 per month for as long as they meet the requirements.
If the SASSA rejects your application, you can appeal the decision by submitting a complaint to the Department of Social Development within the same month that the SASSA rejected your application. Your application’s rejection notification will come with instructions on how to appeal.
A request for an appeal must be submitted every month that the application is denied; otherwise, the first ruling will stand.
Providing food in the form of a food parcel or a food voucher is considered a Social Relief of Distress.  Some provinces provide this help in the form of money.  The duration of Social Relief of Distress is typically up to three months, although it may be extended for an additional three months.
