Candidates may submit their applications for the 2024–2025 year through the Sassa R350 application’s online application window, which is currently open.   • Applicants must be South African citizens, permanent residents, or a refugee registered with the Home Affairs department.

Note: It’s important to note that meeting the above requirements does not guarantee approval for the SASSA R350 grant, as there may be other factors considered during the application process. However, not meeting any of the above requirements will make an applicant ineligible for the grant.

To apply using WhatsApp, follow the following steps:

  • Send a message to the Sassa number and follow the instructions to complete the application process.

  • Submit the required documents such as ID, proof of address, and banking details.

  • After submission, you will receive a message confirming that your application has been received and will be processed.
