Sassa Application Updates
All active SRD R350 grant applications or reapplications made since April 2022 will automatically be considered for each month until March 2023. Existing applicants can update their responses to the screening questionnaire at any time, should their circumstances change or to correct errors.
Your personal information for the Sassa R350 Grant can be updated online through the official website of Sassa. Individuals who are applying for the grant can change their answers to the screening questions that were previously asked in their Sassa application and/or update their personal information on the SRD website if it was initially submitted erroneously.
Sassa update can be done as of 1 July 2023 on the SASSA website at srd.sassa.gov.za. Those who would like to update their original screening questions for the April and May 2023 assessment Periods, should update their information by no later than July 2023.
What Is The SRD R350 Appeal Deadline?
Eligibility for the R350 Grant
In order to be eligible for the SRD R350 grant for 2024/2025, you must meet the following criteria:
- South African Citizens
- Refugees
- Asylum Seekers and
- Special Permit Holders
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 60 years
- Those who have insufficient means do not receiving receive social grants on behalf of herself/ himself or are not contributing to or eligible for UIF payment
- Those who have no financial support from any other source
How to Update Or Complete Sassa Reapplication?
To update your Sassa application status, follow the steps below:
- Visit the Sassa official website at srd.sassa.gov.za
- Click Reconfirm your grant application
- Login in with your South African ID number and Mobile number
- Updates your Sassa Application details
- Resubmit the application

It should be noted that all SRD R350 grant applicants will need to reconfirm/reapply for their grant applications at least once every 3 months.

It’s important to note that during the application process, you will need to provide certified and up-to-date information to increase your chances of being approved for the grant. Additionally, once the application has been submitted, it may take some time for SASSA to process and approve it.
