Applicants who are applying for the Sassa R350 grant for 2024 and 2025 must make sure they only provide Sassa with accurate and up-to-date information about themselves and the documents they provide must be certified without any fraudulent actions. Beneficiaries of Sassa R350 grants are advised to keep their personal information updated especially if there has been a change of name, age, phone number or email address.
Every month up until March 2023, all active SRD R350 grant applications or reapplications submitted since April 2022 will be automatically considered. Current applicants can update their screening questionnaire replies whenever necessary to reflect changes in their circumstances or to correct inaccuracies.
You can update your personal information for the Sassa R350 Grant online on the Sassa website. If the Sassa application was submitted incorrectly, applicants can correct their responses to the screening questions that were previously asked and/or update their personal information on the SRD website.
As of July 1, 2023, Sassa updates can be made on the SASSA website at srd.sassa.gov.za. For the April and May 2023 evaluation Periods, those who would like to alter their original screening questions must do so by no later than July 2023.
What Is The SRD R350 Appeal Deadline?
Eligibility for the R350 Grant
In order to be eligible for the SRD R350 grant for 2024/2025, you must meet the following criteria:
- South African Citizens
- Refugees
- Asylum Seekers and
- Special Permit Holders
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 60 years
- Those who have insufficient means do not receiving receive social grants on behalf of herself/ himself or are not contributing to or eligible for UIF payment
- Those who have no financial support from any other source

Follow the process below to update your Sassa R350 grant information:
- Log on to the official website of Sassa at https://srd.sassa.gov.za
- Scroll down to the Update column
- Click on update your existing application
- Enter your ID number
- Enter your phone number
- Click on Send sms
- You will receive a one-time pin(OTP)
- Enter the code received
- Beneficiaries can now update their information
How to Update Or Complete Sassa Reapplication?
To update your Sassa application status, follow the steps below:
- Visit the Sassa official website at srd.sassa.gov.za
- Click Reconfirm your grant application
- Login in with your South African ID number and Mobile number
- Updates your Sassa Application details
- Resubmit the application

It should be noted that all SRD R350 grant applicants will need to reconfirm/reapply for their grant applications at least once every 3 months.
