SRD Sassa Status

SRD Sassa Status: How do I check if my R350 grant was approved?

A payment of R350 known as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) Award is given to qualified South Africans who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA), which administers the award, wants to help people who are unemployed and not receiving unemployment insurance or any other type of social grant. It is necessary to check the application status to find out whether or not the SRD R350 Grant application is approved considering the number of applicants.

The SRD SASSA Status check portal enables applicants to keep track of the status of their applications and get updates on their results obtained. The applicant’s ID number and cellphone number are entered into the SRD SASSA Status check mechanism on the SASSA website to see the application status. Applicants can still use the SASSA Status check facility to check the status of other SASSA grants and services despite the fact that the SRD R350 Award has been cancelled.
