Srd Social Relief Grant Application Eligibility And Requirements 2024/2025
To apply for the SASSA R350 grant for 2024, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be South African citizens, permanent residents, or a refugee registered with the Home Affairs department.
- Applicants must be unemployed at the time of application.
- Applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 60.
- Applicant must not be receiving any other social grant from the South African government at the time of application.
- Applicant must not be receiving any other form of income, such as a salary or unemployment benefits.
- Applicant must not be a resident in a government-funded or sponsored institution, such as a shelter or prison.
- Applicant must have a valid South African ID or any form of identification issued by the Department of Home Affairs.
- Applicant must have a valid cellphone number and be able to access WhatsApp or have access to the internet.
- Applicants must have a bank account, or if they do not have a bank account, they should provide details of a trusted family member who has a bank account and can receive the money on their behalf.
Note: It’s necessary to note that meeting the above requirements does not guarantee approval for the SASSA R350 grant, as there may be other factors considered during the application process. However, not meeting any of the above requirements will make an applicant ineligible for the grant.

To apply online, applicants must:

To apply using WhatsApp, follow the following steps:

- Send a message to the Sassa number and follow the instructions to complete the application process.

- Submit the required documents such as ID, proof of address, and banking details.
- Submit the application forms.
- After submission, you will receive a message confirming that your application has been received and will be processed.
