Tuition fees

Tuition fees are determined yearly per module, with the exception of dissertations and theses, which are assessed per semester per degree program until the dissertation or thesis is submitted to the faculty concerned in its final form.

International undergraduate students

The following tuition fees are due:

  • A deposit of 30% of the tuition fee is required at the time of registration.
  • 65% of tuition fees must be paid by April 30th.
  • Tuition fees must be paid in full by July 31.
  • If all fees are paid at registration, the University will give you a 5% discount.

All students must pay the following non-refundable ICT levy, registration fee, and international levy in addition to the regular tuition fee:

  • Non-refundable ICT levy and registration fee, as well as regular tuition fees and an R2 000.00 non-refundable international levy
  • Non-refundable ICT levy and registration fee, as well as regular tuition fees and an R17 000.00 non-refundable international levy
  • Non-degree/occasional/SADC and African countries
  • A non-refundable ICT levy and registration fee, as well as regular tuition fees and an R2 000.00 non-refundable international levy, are included in practical training.
  • Other countries include: Non-degree/occasional/practical applications
  • A non-refundable ICT levy and registration fee, as well as regular tuition fees and a R8 000.00 non-refundable international levy, are included in the training.
  • All countries offer extracurricular/short courses as well as non-subsidized courses.
  • Non-refundable ICT levy and registration fee, plus regular tuition fees and a non-refundable international levy of R1 000.00
  • In addition to regular tuition fees and an R2 000.00 non-refundable international levy, affiliate students must pay a non-refundable ICT levy and registration fee.
  • Asylum seekers/refugees/diplomat students are exempt from the international levy.
