Who Can Apply For The NSFAS Scholarship At NWU

You qualify for NSFAS financing if you are a South African citizen or permanent resident planning to attend or currently enrolled in a public university or TVET college.

Grant recipients from SASSA (the SASSA Covid-19 grant does not count)
those whose annual gross household income doesn’t exceed R350 000
Disability-affected individuals whose combined gross household income does not exceed R600 000 annually
Students who began their studies prior to 2018 and whose combined gross household income is not more than R122,000 annually are eligible.
