Sassa R350 Grant Application July 2024

Sassa is designed for South African citizens, refugees, asylum seekers, and special permit holders who are 18 to 60 years old, have insufficient means, do not independently receive social grants, are not eligible for or do not contribute to the UIF payment, and have no other sources of support financially. The Social Relief of Distress Grant (SRD Grant) is implemented with the Minister of Finance’s approval and is administered in accordance with section 32 of the Social Assistance Act, 2004 (Act No. 13 of 2004).
You now have more places to pick up the monies if your July status is accepted and has a Payment date, including Checkers, Usave, Shoprite, Pick ‘n Pay, and Boxer. Clients must bring their identification documents and a cellphone with access to the number they registered with when applying for the grant when they visit a retail location to access the funds. A withdrawal confirmation message will be sent to the registered number that was used on the application.

Applications are now open for applicants who are willing to apply for a Sassa grant in July 2024. Applicants are therefore advised to submit their application and provide all the needed supporting documents before the application deadline.
