Why Is My Nsfas Account Wallet Closed
Both public universities and Tvet College students can apply for Nsfas for the 2024/2025 academic year from the 28th of September through to the 31st of January. It is advisable to apply early while the application doors are open to prevent disappointments. During the application process, applicants are to accept the terms and conditions because it allows NSFAS to validate the information provided in the application. If the terms and conditions are not accepted, the applicant would not be able to create their myNSFAS account.

Why Is My Nsfas Account Closed
Nsfas always ensures that your account is safe so that fraudsters and scammers cannot access it. The owner of the account can, however, take several acts that result in the disabling of their Nsfas account. If a student (the NSFAS account owner) types their password incorrectly three times in a row, the system will recognise this as fraudulent activity and block the account.
How To Create My Nsfas Account 2024/2025
The process below will guide students to create an account with Nsfas for the year 2024:
- Visit the official website of Nsfas@ https://www.nsfas.org.za
- Click on the myNSFAS tab in the top right corner.
- Fill in your personal details as they appear on your Identity Document (ID).
- Fill in your valid contact details.
- Accept the terms and conditions by ticking the box provided.
- Create a password to protect your account, confirm the password then click on ‘Create’.
How To Unblock Your My Nsfas Account Wallet
The below process will lead you to unlock your blocked Nsfas account:
- Log into your myNSFAS account
- Go to NSFAS Connect
- Create a case
- Submit a picture of your ID using a cell phone
- Provide your current cell number
- Indicate that your NSFAS Wallet is blocked
